done, not perfect

When you work to make an impact, done is better than perfect.

Perfection is a never ending chase. If you wait for things to be perfect before sharing, you’ll never get where you wanna go.

Perfection is a moving target. It won’t get you anywhere.

The maker knows that work left unshared has no impact. So the maker understands: done is better than perfect.

Do the work. Ship the work. Let the world respond.

Then improve.

The people who make a difference are the ones who ship—their work, their art. People who say “this could be better or different, but today it’s done.”

Done, not perfect.
